A new species, Dendrobium sutiknoi is added and thanks to Timothy Choltco for correcting me on the identity of Aerides huttonii which was previously listed as Aerides jarckianum. |

Pictures of new species added :- New views :- Thanks to Mr Jim Cootes, I have corrected the identity of Pholidota gibbosa, previously identified as Pholidota ventricosa. Some new links have also been added. |

Some re-arranging is done to the Dendrobium gallery to combine all pictures of same species in the same page. I will try to do this for all other species but the exercise is expected to take some times to be completed, if ever. Additional species added this round :- New views :- I have also renamed the white form of Dendrobium farmeri to Dendrobium palpebrae. |

I acquired the following species recently and were surprised that there were actually 2 different plants in the original pot. One flowered with a purplish tinge while the other one turn out to be an alba variety. Any idea of what this 2 species might be is very much appreciated :- |

First update for the year 2007. The past few months have been very hectic for me and even though I still photograph my orchid blooms, I hardly got the time to process them for uploading to this site. The photos in this update were taken way back in June-July 2006 so I'm actually now more than 6 months behind. I hope to narrow the gap as the year progresses. Pictures of 4 species added:- Thanks to Jim Cootes for identifying previously unknown Vanda species as Vanda lamellata. I have also added some new links to the beautiful orchid collection photos by my orchid friends featuring especially Malaysian orchid species. |
