Distribution : Korea, SC. & S. Japan to Nansei-shoto.

Remarks : Used to be called Aerides japonicum but taxonomists have reclassified it into the current genus which is actually Aerides spelt backwards. Very fragrant, quite similar to Aerides odorata but much stronger.
