Remarks : Thanks to Dr Leslie A. Garay for identifying this species. As per Dr Garay...
"The pictures you sent represent
Cirrhopetalum morotaiense (J.J.Smith) Garay, Hamer & Siegerist. These are
the first pictures I am 98% comfortable with. On the close up picture of the
inflorescence on the right you clearly can see the long tapering petals
ending in a thread; the long aristate dorsal sepal is also perfectly OK.
Moreover the lip wonderfully shows the small conical extensions at the base
Smith clearly emphasizes. Also look carefully, the lateral sepals are
separated from the dorsal sepal spatially and the space is occupied by the
petals. The 2% is the collector's field note "Flowers 6-7, light yellow,
centre darker yellow, somewhat olive green" which I take to be based on
general impression (which applies), not on detailed inspection."

Remarks : Kew's World Checklist of Monocotyledons has not accepted the genus Cirrhopetalum and treats it as a synonym of Bulbophyllum morotaiense J.J.Sm.
